Kiersti Bertolas Represents ENMU at CASE Conference

2016 Mar 15

Five members of Eastern New Mexico University's President's Ambassadors (PAs), including Kiersti Bertolas of Las Cruces, NM (88005), attended the CASE District 4 ASAP Conference from March 4-5 at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

CASE ASAP brings together student alumni associations, student foundations, and other similar organizations at more than 300 CASE institutions. Its goal is to foster and enhance student involvement in all areas of advancement-from alumni relations, communications, fundraising, marketing to building school spirit.

The PAs attended several study sessions and a lunch-and learn-session, including presentations on how to engage members of your organization, build school spirit and take on successful fundraisers.

During these study sessions, the PAs listened to other leadership organizations from around the country talk about their program experience. They also learned strategies to use when starting new programs at ENMU.

The PAs were able to meet students from over 20 different universities and discuss what programs are successful and how to put them into effect.

ENMU, a state institution that offers associate, bachelor and master degree options, serves students from around the world. Courses are offered on-campus and online.
