Doreen Chavez of Albuquerque, NM (87121), is a student worker for the Eastern New Mexico University Office of Hispanic Affairs.

The Office of Hispanic Affairs provides students with the tools they need for success: financial and academic assistance, moral support and a comfortable environment. They also help ENMU professors, advisors, counselors and staff understand the needs and diversity of every student.

They are currently hosting Hispanic Heritage month, which features events like presentations, concerts and a Rey y Reina contest.

Founded in 1934, ENMU is a state institution offering 91 associate, bachelor and master degree options.

Combining a traditional learning environment with 21st century technology, ENMU provides a rich educational experience for students from around the world. Courses are offered on-campus and online.
