Christopher Whitmore Awarded the Presidential Scholarship to Attend Eastern New Mexico University

Christopher Whitmore, of Lordsburg, NM, has been granted the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship to attend Eastern New Mexico University.

Whitmore is a Freshman who recently graduated from Lordsburg High School.

The Presidential Scholarship covers tuition, fees, residence hall charges, and a $500 cash award per semester for a total of approximately $7,600 per year. The scholarship is only awarded to 10 students per year.

The scholarship is for incoming students who meet the following requirements:

• New Mexico resident
• New Mexico high school graduate in the semester preceding the first semester of attendance
• 3.0 GPA and ACT composite of 27 (1210 SAT Critical Reading and Math)
• 3.5 GPA and ACT composite of 25 (1130 SAT Critical Reading and Math)

ENMU is a state institution offering 91 associate, bachelor and master degree options and serves students from around the world. Courses are offered on-campus and online.
